BESS Battery Storage

Stationary battery systems with a total output of 12.4 MW connected to the distribution grid in the Sturovo Industrial Park.

Technology Overview

Intelligent Energy Storage at Industrial Scale

Our battery storage systems are standalone units connected directly to the local distribution system (LDS) within the Sturovo Industrial Park. They are not linked to any generation source and operate independently.

The primary use is price arbitrage on the electricity market. The systems also support grid stabilization, peak-shaving, and backup power supply.

3 + 3 MW = 6 MW

The second expansion phase includes two containerized battery storage systems with a total capacity of 12.54 MWh. After completion of both phases, the total installed BESS output will be 12.4 MW.

Just like in Phase I, these storage systems will be standalone and connected directly to the distribution grid, with no link to the photovoltaic power plant.

What Are Battery Storage Systems Used For?

Battery storage systems enable flexible management of energy flows and optimization of electricity costs.

Price Arbitrage

Purchasing electricity during low-price periods and selling it during peak hours. The primary business model for our battery storage systems.

Grid Stabilization

Providing regulation services for the distribution system - frequency regulation and balancing grid fluctuations.

Peak-Shaving

Reducing peak grid consumption during highest load periods. Optimization of electricity costs.

Backup Power Supply

Ensuring uninterrupted energy supply for critical infrastructure, including the planned data center.

Energy Hub

Energy Hub for Data Center

The Sturovo Industrial Park is building a comprehensive energy ecosystem with 100 MW+ capacity designed to power a data center running on renewable sources. The combination of our own photovoltaic power plant, battery storage systems, and planned expansion creates a unique energy platform in Central Europe.
