Overview

23,975 MW of Clean Energy for the Industrial Park

Our photovoltaic power plant (PV plant) is located within the Sturovo Industrial Park and provides electricity generation from a renewable source for all consumers in the industrial park.

The PV plant significantly contributes to long-term price hedging and Scope 2 carbon emissions reduction. It is a key pillar of BioEner Slovakia's energy infrastructure.

Construction Phases

Implementation in Two Stages

Phase 1
14,975 MW
Operational, commissioned. The power plant provides the majority of clean energy production for the industrial park.
Phase 2
9 MW
Nearing completion – functional tests in progress. Expansion of PV plant capacity to cover the growing energy needs of the complex.
Advantages

Why Solar Energy?

Our own photovoltaic power plant brings economic, environmental, and regulatory advantages.

Price Hedging

Long-term stabilization of electricity costs. Own production eliminates dependence on market price fluctuations.

CO2 Emissions Reduction

Significant reduction of Scope 2 carbon emissions for all consumers in the industrial park. Measurable positive environmental impact.

ESG Compliance

Meeting requirements for environmental reporting and sustainability in accordance with European legislation and ESG standards.

Energy Independence

Reduced dependence on external energy suppliers. Own production capacity strengthens the energy security of the entire complex.

Important Information

BESS and PV Plant Are Independent Systems

The BESS battery storage systems are not directly connected to the photovoltaic power plant. They are standalone devices connected independently to the distribution grid. Each system operates autonomously.

Energy Hub

Energy Hub for Data Center

The Sturovo Industrial Park is building a comprehensive energy ecosystem with 100 MW+ capacity designed to power a data center running on renewable sources. The combination of our own photovoltaic power plant, battery storage systems, and planned expansion creates a unique energy platform in Central Europe.
